I chose to Blog on Set two-Chili’s and Teri Café restaurants. Both cater hungry consumers with totally different food options. Depending on what a person craves at that moment they can opt for Chili’s which serves Mexican and American food or Teri Café, Japanese and Hawaiian food. One can notice subtle difference as soon as website loads, one can notice that Chili’s offerings in bold display of colors, burgers, salsa and other items. Teri Café has simplistic design highlighting their offerings in menu area and text displaying in the center of screen. Chili’s target audience is between 18 to34 year old’s with mostly some sort of graduate or undergraduate degree, average if not more than average income. People dining at Chili’s are mostly white, more women than men. Teri Café is targeted to people of all ages form kids, adults and grandparents having some educational background. Since Teri Café caters to restaurants and stores as pre-packaged items apart from its in-house dining

Week #4 Post 2

Two websites that I frequently visit are https://yogasix.com/studio/4s-ranch/class-schedule and https://www.chase.com/ . They are effective because navigation is very easy on both sites, within 10 seconds visitor can find what they are looking for. It can be class schedules workshop and events or other features of the business, in case of chase one can clearly pin point all the services this bank offers along with log in box. Every page has attractive design and information that user wants to scroll down and learn more. Best thing about these websites are they are adjusted to mobile screens making it very hands on experience. In my opinion both business have spot on design and are very well branded in their own ways.   I have commented on Dustin Miller, Alexa Kent and Stacy Brock for this week's posts.

Week #4 Post 1

Two websites I choose to comment on that could have problems for visitors are www.jamilin.com and www.gatesnfences.com . First thing that I noticed on opening these websites were the style, in a nutshell it is a brochure style, where there is a lot of static content and heavy description of the products or services offered by respective businesses. It made me feel like, I need to get out of these websites right away. There is no stickiness to them. Three potential problematic areas would be:   No clear Concept and Contrast, Hierarchy and Ease of use. No clear concept and contrast : Upon close observation on both these web sites we notice there is no clear concept of what products/services they are offering. “Jamilin” website has two different menus one with different colors, which I believe are the services they offer. However, they have another menu right underneath that has drop down menus for services again. This is total confusion for a visitor who must spend lot of time
