Week #9 Post 2
Searching twitter is relatively easy, just type in what ever you want to research in the top right-hand corner of search box. Adding
# and @ also helps in obtaining pretty good amount of search results. I’ve used
simple words to find blogs and websites related to my business. Tea, @tea, tea
blogger, tea events, tea companies are some of the words used, I felt it is
relatively easy process to find content or research anything on twitter.
List that I created are “Good to know” and “Tea websites”.
Each of these lists has two members, Good to know- Has blog list and recipe
form a tea website that I’m following. Tea websites- contains list of two tea companies
that I follow again. Lists are meant to organize and cut down the noise in time line.
It narrows down to important people that you are following and narrows it down to find
them quickly without having to navigating through all the followers you have.
Timings for customers to view our tweets are morning 8.30 am,
this is an effective timing because people have just got to work and ready to
grab a cup of coffee or tea while taking a glance at what’s happening on
twitter. Evening 5.30 pm is good because either people are home or getting back
home from hectic work load and would like to take time to catch up on twitter
again.
