Researching wide audience via Facebook seems easy, just post
your ad and hope that it is going to reach desired target audiences. According
to the blog and text book this does not work alone by itself, creating optimized
Facebook ads to reach right target audiences will not only make spending budget
wisely but provides ROI. Understanding Facebook business prospect involves
knowledge of wide variety of things one can accomplish such as analytics, ads,
new feed algorithm and many more tasks than just interactions with friends and
family.
Facebook ads are the most used and effective form of social
media ads available along with other ones such as Twitter and LinkedIn. To be
successful the very least, one must take into consideration four components.
They are: a) Visually pleasing b) Must be
relevant c) Includes enticing value proposition and c) Must contain call to
action. Apart from these four components that makes Facebook ads, there are 8
different Facebook ad types that can be chosen to target right audiences. They
are - Facebook video ad, just as the name this ad contains “how to” videos.
Photo ad, as the name says it contains images that shows relevant subject with
pleasing images. Multi-Product ad, show cases multiple products for purchase.
The Local ad, this type is more appealing to people who are geographically
situated near the business or event. The Offer ad, promotes a discount on
product or service that can be redeemed and purchased on Facebook. The Event
ad, promotes events where users are directed to ticket purchase whenever it happens
to be hosted. Retargeting ad, this type of ad promotes specific list of
previously identified people, it usually occurs in newsfeed. Last one, Boosted
post, it is an organic Facebook post that is originally on the home page of the
company’s Facebook.
